The long story

I am Annisha Friall, a freelance web designer and developer based in metro Atlanta. I've had a love for web design since I was thirteen years old. As a teen, was the "go-to girl" when it came to creating layouts and web pages for everyone's popular social media sites. At the time for me that was BlackPlanet, Tagged, and of course MySpace! My last two years of high school I was able to work on my hobby more often because my school offered Web Design courses, yay! While it was a struggle for my classmates to understand the course assignments, it was a breeze for me ^_^.

After graduating high school, instead of going to possibly one of the local art institutes, I decided to attend a more traditional college to get the full college experience. The only problem with that was that for most traditional schools, "web design" was not a traditional major. So I was back to teaching myself.

During my undergrad studies I was able to take classes in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Animation, Computer Programming, and Graphic Design.

After receiving my bachelor's degree, I was looking for something different. I felt as if I had a good grasp on Web Design, so I decided to learn something different: Web Development! I attended courses for a year in order to receive my certification in Web Development. During that time, I took classes in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (which was a great refresher). New content I was taught include PHP, MYSQL, Joomla, Web Security and a course on Dynamic Websites.

I am currently a systems architect in Atlanta, GA.
